Home-Start Guernsey supports families across the Channel Island of Guernsey.
Being a parent can be challenging, especially when children are young. Many parents feel exhausted and overwhelmed by the demands of family life. For some, these challenges are even greater when coping with post-natal depression, illness or disability (their own or their child’s), isolation, or managing multiple births.
At times like these, having support can make all the difference – and that’s where Home-Start Guernsey steps in.
That’s where Home-Start Guernsey can help. A carefully selected volunteer with parenting experience can visit regularly, offering both emotional and practical support. This friendly, parent-to-parent approach is a simple yet effective way to help families regain balance and confidence.
